| It's a little too dark. There's a loss of detail in the scrub brush on the sides. It looks different, darker, either this small or via the web. I need to redo it. From a recent road trip through Central Oregon. I went to the Painted Hills the previous day, then camped along the John Day river the previous night. I woke up early then started driving west. I saw the sun starting to come up in my rear view mirror so I pulled over and waited to take this picture. What I'm really liking about digital photography right now is the ability to develop an image two or more times so that each part has the best exposure, contrast, white balance, etc, then being able to paint the separate parts back together to get the picture you want, and actually saw. This picture has been "photoshopped," but it's very true to the moment it was taken. |

I really liked the light coming through the leaves. It didn't overwhelm them. It was perfect.
